Death of Mrs. Jaeger

Mrs. Agatha [Glab] Jaeger, an old and well known resident of Dubuque, died yesterday morning at her residence of inflammation of the lungs. Her sickness was not of long duration and the news of her demise was quite unexpected. She had been a resident of this city for twenty-one years, and during all this time had commanded the respect and affection of a large circle of friends, who will now miss the kindly mother in Israel (??). She was an earnest, consistent member of the Catholic Church. She leaves five children all grown to manhood and womanhood and filling honorable and useful places in society. The children are A. J., N., and John Jaeger and Mrs Reinfried and Mrs E. Curtis. The funeral will take place on Saturday at two o’clock, p.m.

MORTUARY - the death of Mrs. Agatha Jaeger took place yesterday morning in the 62 year of her life, and the event has filled many a household with grief and mourning. She was a native of Hesse-Darmstadt, Germany, and came to this city twenty years ago, a widow with six small children, all of whom she lived to se grown up to become useful and respected members of society, through the moral training and culture of a mother, the only rue teacher of the rising generation. Her children are N. Jaeger, A. J. Jaeger, John Jaeger, Mrs. F Reinfried; and Mrs. E Curtis, all residents of this city. She was a devout member of the Catholic church and died in the firm belief of a ________ hereafter. As a neighbor and __________ no woman in the city has more respect………..
