Roger C. Hinzman, 67, of Dubuque, died Thursday, May 9, 2013, at Finley Hospital in Dubuque.

Funeral services were private, conducted by Rev. Shane Anderson.

Arrangements were handled by Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Guttenberg.

Roger was born the son of Ray and Dorothy (Havelick) Hinzman, Aug. 6, 1945, in Monona.

Roger graduated from the Garnavillo High School in 1963, served his country in the United States Navy, and was employed by John Deere in Waterloo and Dubuque for 38 Years. He enjoyed hunting, vintage cars and was an avid Minnesota Viking and NASCAR fan.

He is survived by his children, Scott Muir Hinzman of Glasgow, Scotland, Darcy Borcherding of Cedar Rapids, Joy Eulberg Meyer, of St. Olaf, and siblings, Pat (Terry) Meyer, Shirley (Al) Leliefeld, Bob (Donna) Hinzman, Ron (Dixie) Hinzman, Mary Lou (George) Harbaugh, Rick (Deb) Hinzman, and Ray (Linda) Hinzman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ralph and sister, Rosalie Duwe.
