Irvin Joseph Hutter, 92, of 2066 Lincoln Ave., died at 8:40 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, at Dubuque Nursing and Rehab Center.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., where there will be the parish wake service at 4 p.m.

Mr. Hutter was employed at the former Farley & Loetscher Mfg. Co. for 35 years. He later worked as a security guard for Celotex in Dubuque.

He was born on Sept. 4, 1911, in Dubuque, son of Frank and Katherine (Welter) Hutter. He married Marie C. Ryan on June 23, 1936, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Dubuque.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid Cubs fan.

Surviving are his wife, Marie C. Hutter; a son, Joseph I. Hutter, of Bettendorf, Iowa; and four grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1700 Lincoln Ave., Dubuque, Iowa 52001.
