Herbert A. Woller, 87, of 201 Bonnet Drive, East Dubuque, Ill., formerly of Dubuque, died at 12:07 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003, at The Finley Hospital, Dubuque.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, East Dubuque, with the Rev. Paul Otting officiating. Entombment will be in the family mausoleum, where there will be a flag presentation by the American Legion, Dubuque Post 6. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Woller owned and operated the Dubuque Auto Shop until his retirement.

He was born on July 9, 1916, in Dubuque, son of Herbert and Mary (Steger) Woller. He married Ruth F. Frederick on Sept. 15, 1945, in Dubuque.

He was a veteran of the Army, serving with the 34th Division. He was a very dedicated family man and businessman.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth (Frederick) Woller; a son, Herbert G. Woller, of San Diego; a daughter, Bette (Jim) Accola, of East Dubuque; and three grandchildren, Audrey Stratton, Bryan Accola and Stephanie Woller.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Carl and Francis Woller; and a sister, Rosemary Biederman.
