TEMPLE HILL, Iowa - Raymond F. Peiffer, 92, of Rural Route, Temple Hill, died at 4:40 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003, at Shady Rest Care Center, Cascade.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Temple Hill. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Reiff Funeral Home, Cascade, where there will be a wake service at 7 p.m.

Mr. Peiffer farmed in the Temple Hill area until his retirement in 1976.

He was born on April 28, 1911, in Temple Hill, son of John and Jane (Smith) Peiffer.

He received his education in the Temple Hill rural schools.

Raymond was a member of St. Peter's Parish in Temple Hill, and its Holy Name Society.

Surviving are a sister-in-law, Irene Peiffer, of Cascade; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and a sister.

A Raymond F. Peiffer Memorial Fund has been established.
