Mrs. Honora Funchion Nicoll, a pioneer resident of Dubuque, died in that city Sunday afternoon. She was born in Molan Ahone, Tipperary, Ireland, and in the year 1842 came to this country with her parents, settling in Garry Owen, Jackson county, where she resided until 1850, when she removed to Dubuque. In the year 1866 she was united in marriage to Alexander Nicoll, who with her brother, Andrew Funchion, survive her. The funeral was held Wednesday and the remains were interred in St. Patrick's cemetery in Garry Owen.
