Mary B. Post, 83, of 15679 Asbury Road, died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2003, at The Finley Hospital, Dubuque.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road, Dubuque, where friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday.

She was born on Dec. 16, 1919, in Mason City, Iowa, daughter of Forest and Louise (Skow) Burris.

Mary loved the Mississippi River and the Florida Keys. She spent her winters in Florida with her faithful companion, Bitsy. She enjoyed sewing, traveling, jewelry, knitting and spending time with family. She had spent many years in Shawondassee and the Florida Keys, until 6 years ago when she moved in with her niece, Eloise (Robert) Koltes of Asbury, Iowa.

Surviving are a sister, Betty (Lowell) Muntz, of Dubuque; four nieces and nephews, Eloise (Robert ) Koltes, of Asbury, Ben (Kathy) Burris, Gary (Andrea) Muntz and James (Charlene) Muntz, all of Dubuque, eight great-nieces and nephews, Nicole, Danielle, Jennifer, Amy, Greg, Rachel, Ben and Adam; and four great-great-nieces and nephews, Dillon, Chloe, Sarah and Jacob.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Merle Richardson; her second husband, Lewis Post, in 1964; and a brother, William Burris.

The family would like to thank everyone who has helped Mary over the years, especially Marcella Koltes, Norman and Richard Weber, Sharon and Jerome Kutsch, Steve and Sandy Koltes and Dennis and Sandy Barth.
