Ann Xavier, 69, of San Francisco, formerly of Dubuque, died Wednesday morning, Oct. 22, 2003, at home.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Name of Jesus Church, San Francisco. Burial will be in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Colma, Calif.

Surviving are her husband, John Xavier; daughters, Jennifer Xavier and Jane Becerra; a granddaughter, Emily Becerra; five sisters, Mary Beck, Rita Foley, Gertrude Wersinger, Agnes Bernhard and Therese Moran; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, John Murphy.
