Ernest Reichen, 67, of the Julien Care Facility, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.

Private family services will be held Wednesday in Mueller Memorial Chapel at Linwood Cemetery. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery. There will be no visitation. The Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road, is in charge of arrangements.

He was born on Dec. 14, 1935, in Delaware County, son of Ernest and Lena Reichen.

Surviving are a brother, Paul Reichen, of Dubuque; and two sisters, Mary Ann Reichen and Betty Jean Reichen, both of Dubuque.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Reichen, on Feb. 14, 1957, and Lena Reichen, on Nov. 1, 1998.
