Sister Catherine (Mary St. Edgar) McNulty, BVM, 93, of Marian Hall, 1050 Carmel Drive, died at 12:42 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2003, at Marian Hall.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Marian Hall Chapel. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, where there will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. The Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., is in charge of arrangements.

Sister Catherine was an elementary school teacher in Waterloo and Marcus, Iowa; in Chicago and at St. Patrick and St. Anthony Parishes in Dubuque. She also served as reading consultant for the Archdiocese of Chicago.

She was born on June 8, 1910, in Chicago, daughter of Edward Joseph and Anne (Kraemer) McNulty.

She made her first profession of religious vows on Aug. 15, 1930, and her final profession on Aug. 15, 1936.

Surviving are a sister-in-law, Annamae McNulty, of Lemont, Ill.; nieces and nephews; and the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary with whom she shared life for 75 years.
