TRAIN KILLS THREE GIRLS
---
HAD HEADS DOWN ON ACCOUNT OF WIND AND DIDN'T SEE DANGER.

The Illinois Central "Flyer" struck and killed Anna, Mabel and Ruby, aged 7, 8 and 14, respectfully, daughters of Fred Foldorf, four miles west of Dubuque. The girls were walking on the track toward the approaching train, but on account of high wind they had their heads down and did not hear the train, it was too late to stop.
