Mrs. Annabel (Anne) Nicks, age 92, of 120 KingsBridge, Atlanta, GA 30329, died Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Hospice Atlanta, Atlanta, GA.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be offered September 29, 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Atlanta, Ga. The family will receive friends starting at 10:15 am. The cremains will be entombed at Peachtree Memorial Park in Norcross, Ga.

She was born March 6,1920 in Dubuque IA, daughter of Leonard and Agnes (Cain) Blichmann. She graduated Dubuque Senior High in 1937 and Bayless Business College. She married Edward F. Connolly Nov 28, 1942. He was KIA Sept 16, 1943 over France.

She married Paul G. Nicks on July 6, 1946 in Dubuque,IA. They lived in Clarendon Hills and Naperville, IL before transferring to Atlanta, GA. He preceded her in death on November 4, 2004.

She is survived by her four children Judith A. Nicks, Clemson, SC; James P. (Gail) Nicks and John J.(Tricia) Nicks, Lilburn,GA; Kathleen (Steve) Cook, Tucker, GA; seven grandchildren Zachary (Mishelle) Nicks, Andy (Jenny) Nicks and Allison Nicks, Matthew (Marcie) Nicks and Daniel Nicks, Salem and Tess Anne Cook; two great-grandchildren Landon Nicks and Landrie Nicks; nephew Robert C. Lagen, Jr. Talladega, AL; niece Patricia Lagen (Jack) Winch, Tacoma,WA.
