Arnold Deich, Sr.

Arnold Deich, Sr., 85, of 260 Julien Dubuque Drive, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2003, at home.
 
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Mueller Memorial Chapel at Linwood Cemetery.   Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.   Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Siegert-Didesch Colonial Funeral Home, 390 N. Grandview Ave.
 
Mr. Deich worked as a tool and die maker at the Adams Co., Felix Uelner Tool and Die, then at H&H Tool and Machine in Cedar Falls, from where he retired.
 
He was born on Aug. 18, 1917, in Dubuque, son of William and Anna (Wagner) Deich.  He married Lois Hunt on Oct. 24, 1939, at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.
 
He graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 1937.
 
Surviving are his wife, Lois, of Dubuque; a son, Arnold (Cecelia) Deich, Jr., of Waterloo, Iowa; and four grandchildren, Arnold Deich III, and Tory, Mike and Scott Brady.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Karen Brady; and two brothers, Don and William.
