Anne M. Trieweiler, 80, of 545 Maplewood Court, died Monday, July 28, 2003, at The Finley Hospital, Dubuque.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Egelhof, Siegert and Casper Westview Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road, where there will be a wake service at 8 p.m.

She was born on Sept. 21, 1922, daughter of Lester and Collette (Collins) Oestern. She married George Trieweiler on March 2, 1946, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church.

She graduated from Immaculate Conception Academy, and from St. Joseph's Mercy College of Nursing in Sioux City.

Surviving are her husband, George Trieweiler, of Dubuque; five children, Bernadette (James) Toonen, of Kaukauna, Wis., Terry (Carol) Trieweiler, of Helena, Mont., Mary (Gary) Trieweiler-Germain, of Dubuque, Jane Curtis, of Riverside, Calif., and David (Sharon) Trieweiler, of Seattle; 10 grandchildren, Christopher (Jenny) Bigelow, Eric (Kris) Bigelow and Erin (Doug) Hidde, all of Kaukauna, Kathryn Anne, Christina and Anna Trieweiler, of Whitefish, Mont., Brendan and Peter Curtis, of Riverside, and Lauren Rederford and Sarah Trieweiler, of Seattle; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Cecelia Lanzing, of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

An Anne Trieweiler Memorial Fund has been established.
