Brenda Rae Stewart, 29, of 1808 Grace St., died Saturday, July 19, 2003.

Private family services will be Tuesday at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, with the Rev. Philip Kruse officiating. There will be no visitation.

She was born on Dec. 3, 1973, in Dubuque, daughter of Donald and Imogene (Fox) Stewart.

She graduated from Dubuque Senior High School. She had a great interest in photography, especially at sunset, and liked to write poems, several of which she had published.

Surviving are her parents; a sister, Paula (Steve) Uhlrich, of Iowa City; a brother, Jason, of Dubuque; her paternal grandparents, Floyd and Dorothy Stewart, of Moline, Ill., her maternal grandfather, Henry Fox, of Commiskey, Ind.; a nephew, Cody; and three nieces, Ashley, Brittney and Melaney.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Marie Fox.
