Eileen Marie (Faley) Schilling, 76, of 1825 Scenic View Drive, died at 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2003, at The Finley Hospital, Dubuque.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Nativity Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Egelhof-Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road, where there will be a Nativity Parish Christian wake service at 7:30 p.m.

Mrs. Schilling was manager of Ames Dress Shop from 1945 to 1951. She then joined the staff of American Trust & Savings Bank where she served for 50 years, retiring as vice president.

She was born on Aug. 1, 1936, in Dubuque, daughter of Michael J. and Marcella (McClain) Faley. She married Roger B. Schilling on May 9. 1951, at Nativity Catholic Church.

She was a graduate of the former Visitation Academy and attended St. Ann's School of Nursing in Chicago.

She was a member of Nativity Parish where she served on the Parish Council and its Rosary Society. She was the former chairperson of finance with the Little Cloud Girl Scouts of America, former finance chairperson of the Visitation Alumnae Association and member of the Stone Hill Care Center Auxiliary.

Surviving are her husband, Roger B. Schilling; two sons, Roger (Peg) Schilling, of Niwot, Colo., and Mark (Cyndy) Schilling, of Lakeland, Minn.; a granddaughter, Lily Schilling; a sister, Phyllis (Jim) Portell, of Ellison Bay, Wis.; brothers, Jack (Kay) Faley, of Placentia, Calif., Howard (Dorothy) Faley, of Freeport, Ill., and Wayne (Mary ) Faley, of Santa Paula, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Virginia Fondell, of Dubuque; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Nativity Educational Fund and the Sisters of the Visitation.
