DYERSVILLE, Iowa - Dora B. Jaeger, 103, of Dyersville, died Wednesday, July 9, 2003, at Shady Rest Care Center, Cascade, after a brief illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Catholic Church, Worthington, with the Rev. Douglas Loecke officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where there will be a parish rosary at 4 p.m.

She was a clergy housekeeper for 57 years.

She was born on June 10, 1900, in Worthington, daughter of John S. and Elizabeth (Mairose) Jaeger.

She enjoyed flower gardening and received statewide recognition as the "Flower Lady of Belmond" in the Des Moines Register in 1977. She also had received numerous papal and archdiocesan blessings for her many years of service to the priesthood.

Surviving are a sister, Marcella Kramer, of Stonehill Care Center, Dubuque; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Lawrence, Sylverious and Emil; and three sisters, Mildred Rausch, Lorene Engler and Salome Gudenkauf.

Memorials are preferred.
