Floyd Robert McGeough, age 78, of Sunnycrest Manor in Dubuque, Iowa died Thursday, May 17, 1990. His services were held at 10 a.m. Monday May 21 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque, Iowa.

Floyd was born December 15, 1911 in Waterville, Iowa in Allamakee County to Robert and Agnes (Gavin) McGeough. On February 21, 1939 he married Clara Weipert at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lansing, Iowa. He was an operating engineer for the city of Dubuque, Iowa for many years before his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, 4 sons, Donald McGeough, Clarence "Sparky" McGeough, Michael "Mick" McGeough, and Gary McGeough; 4 grandchildren; a sister, Grace Kilroy of Chicago, Illinois, and a brother Joe McGeough of Dubuque, Iowa.
