Ronald Leo Weber, 46, of Iowa City, formerly of Dubuque, died Monday, June 30, 2003, in Iowa City.

Chapel services will be at 1 p.m. today in Mueller Memorial Chapel at Linwood Cemetery. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery. There will be no visitation. The Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Weber worked at the Oak Knoll Retirement Center in Iowa City, where he drove the van for the residents.

He was born on May 11, 1957, in Dubuque, son of Ronald E. and Beverly A. (Corwin) Weber. He married Judith A. Cheney on May 7, 1994, in Nashua, Iowa.

He graduated from Hempstead High School, Dubuque. He was a member of Pheasants Forever. Ron enjoyed bowling, hunting and fishing and working with his hunting dogs. He also liked to study the stars with his telescopes.

Surviving are his wife, Judith A. Weber, of Iowa City; his mother, Beverly A. Weber, of Dubuque; a sister, Rhonda K. Connolly, of Dubuque; a brother, Randy J. Weber, of Dubuque; and three nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald E. Weber, on May 28, 1994.

In lieu of flowers, a Ronald L. Weber Memorial Fund has been established.
