Died - Another old settler has passed away. Chas. Rose, of Rose & Weber, grocery merchants, died yesterday after an illness of several weeks. He was widely known and universally respected, and leaves a wife and seven children to mourn his loss. The funeral arrangements are noted elsewhere.

Died - Rose - In this city, January 3, 1868, Charles Rose, aged 49 years 3 months and 10 days. Funeral from his late residence, Eagle Pt. Avenue, corner of Windsor Avenue, on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend.

I.O.O.F. - The members of Schiller Lodge, I.O.O.F. are requested to meet at their hall Sunday afternoon, at 1 o'clock, precisely, to attend the funeral of their deceased brother, Charles Rose.
