D. G. Moran, for many years a resident of Dubuque, died in that city Tuesday at 12:30, after an illness of only six days. The remains were brought here the same evening and funeral services were held this morning.

D. G. Moran was the youngest of eight children and the son of John and Mary Moran. He is survived by the widow, two brothers Joseph and William of Elkader and two stepsons, Charles and Harry Wareham, both of Chicago.

Mr. Moran was united in marriage with Mrs. Wareham in September, 1901, and the greater part of this time they have made their home in Dubuque, where deceased was for many years connected with the firm of Mehlhop & Son, as a traveling salesman, in which capacity he was well and favorably known in this section of the state. He was a member of the B. P. O. E., the W. C. T. U., and the Dubuque Business and Traveling Men’s association.

Funeral services were held here this morning at 11:00 in St. Joseph’s church and interment was made in the East Side Cemetery.
