DYERSVILLE, Iowa - Ardella C. Helle, 90, of Dyersville, died Monday, June 23, 2003, at the Guttenberg (Iowa) Municipal Hospital, after a short illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville, with the Rev. Mark McGovern officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where there will be a parish scripture service at 5 p.m.

Surviving are three daughters, Wilma (Dale) Mensen, of Dyersville, Shirley (Leonard) Thein, of Garnavillo, and JoAnn (Jerry) Cox, of Champaign, Ill.; four sons, Louis (Betty) Helle, of Cedar Rapids, David (Leslee) Helle, of Dyersville, and Joe (Peggy) Helle and Wayne (Kathy) Helle, both of Garnavillo; two sisters-in-law, Joan Helle, of Dubuque, and Frances Helle, of Edgewood; 24 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
