Kenneth Richard Anglin, 49, of 1854 Jackson St., died at 8:56 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2003, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Columbkille's Catholic Church, with burial in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Otter Creek, Iowa. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, where there will be a wake service at 4 p.m.

Mr. Anglin was an electrician in Dubuque for many years. He worked for several electrical contractors in Dubuque including Paulson and Westphal. He also was co-owner of Advanced Electric in Dubuque.

He was born on July 3, 1953, in Dubuque, son of Carl and Luane (Blasen) Anglin.

He graduated from Wahlert High School in 1971. He was a very active member of the IBEW Union Local 704 in Dubuque, and also taught in the apprentice program. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and golfing.

Surviving are two daughters, Elissa Anglin, of Tinley Park, Ill., and Dana Anglin, of Cedar Falls, Iowa; his parents, Carl and Luane Anglin, of Dubuque; five brothers, Dave Anglin, of Palos Hills, Ill., Jim (Rose) Anglin, of Orlando, Fla., Tom Anglin, of Iowa City, Phil Anglin, of Columbia, Mass., and John (Jeni) Anglin, of Epworth, Iowa; a sister, Karen (Rick) Rausch, of Dubuque; maternal grandmother, Helen Blasen.

A Kenneth R. Anglin Memorial Fund has been established.
