Wilbur "Spike" Otterbeck Sr., 79, of Miller, Iowa, formerly of the Dubuque area, died Tuesday, May 27, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center, North Iowa, Mason City.

A gathering will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Swiss Valley Park, Dubuque. His body was donated for medical research.

The Cataldo Funeral Home, Garner, Iowa, is in charge of arrangements.
