Jamie L. Martin, 21, of 1855 Chaney Road, died Sunday morning, April 13, 2003, at home.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Mueller Memorial Chapel at Linwood Cemetery. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St.
He was born on March 29, 1982, in Rosenburg, Texas, son of Virtus C. Kieffer and Lisa J. Martin
Jamie attended Hempstead High School. He was employed at Addoco Pallet Co. He enjoyed spending time with Shannon and his son, Devan. He enjoyed working on cars and being with his friends and family. Jamie will be sadly missed.
Surviving are a son, Devan T. Martin, of Dubuque; special friend, Shannon R. Walsh, of Dubuque; his mother, Lisa J. Martin, of Dubuque; his father, Virtus C. Kieffer, of Dubuque; his stepfather, Melvin "Red" Raley, of Dubuque; a brother, Jeremy J. Kieffer, of Dubuque; three half-brothers, Keith Kieffer, of Needville, Texas, Jason Martin, of Newton, Iowa, and Ronnie Thomas, of Dubuque; grandparents, Don and Sharon Martin, of St. Catherine, Iowa; his great-grandfather, Gervis Campton, of Soldiers Grove, Wis.; two nieces; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, a Jamie L. Martin Memorial Fund has been established.
