Conrad H. Brenner

Conrad H. Brenner, 68, of 708 Terrace Drive, died Friday, April 4, 2003, at The Finley Hospital, Dubuque.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hoffmann-Schneider Funeral Home, 1640 Main St., where friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Dubuque Memorial Gardens, south of Dubuque, where military rites will be accorded by the Dubuque Marine Corps League and Tri-State Vietnam Veterans Association.

Mr. Brenner worked at Dubuque Stamping Co. for 36 years, retiring in 1999.

He was born on Dec. 22, 1934, son of Ludwig Sr. and Lena (Sietmann) Brenner. He married Donna Perry in December 1961, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Dubuque; she died on June 6, 2000.

He was an Army veteran, serving from 1957-l959 as a motor pool mechanic.

Conrad enjoyed outdoor camping, fishing and boating with his sons and grandchildren. He was an active bowler for 20 years. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

Surviving are four sons, Don (Barb) Brenner, Ed Brenner and William (Cindy) Brenner, all of Dubuque, and Jerry (Trisha) Brenner, of Pitcher, Okla.; two sisters, Louise Juno and Alice Goedert, both of Dubuque; 20 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

He also was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Ludwig Jr.; and two sisters, Ann and Augusta.
