Nancy L. Donahue, 63, of 2330 Evergreen, died at 8:25 a.m., Wednesday, April 2, 2003, at home surrounded by her family.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Resurrection Catholic Church. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road, where there will be a wake service at 5:30 p.m.

She was born on Jan. 9, 1940, in Dubuque, daughter of Peter and Mary (Link) Kretz. She married John Donahue on July 9, 1960, at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

She graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 1958. Nancy's life centered around her family and her home. She looked forward to all of the holidays, especially Christmas and St. Patrick's Day. She also will be remembered for the love and care she gave to her younger siblings upon the death of their mother in 1966. She also continued to care for her father until his death in 1996. She was a longtime member of Resurrection Parish.

Surviving are her husband, John Donahue, of Dubuque; three children, Michael (Tine) Donahue, of Owatonna, Minn., Daniel Donahue, of Dubuque, and Kristine Donahue Probst, of Lancaster, Wis.; three grandchildren, Chantal, Caitlin and Brittany Donahue; two brothers, Ed (Sharon) Kretz, of Dubuque, and Peter "P.J." (Becki) Kretz, of Cuba City, Wis.; a sister, Mary (Bob) Huber, of Solon, Iowa; several aunts and uncles; and many nieces and nephews.

She also was preceded in death by a son, Shaun.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Dubuque for their loving care.
