DYERSVILLE, Iowa - Ms. Loretta M. Becker, 93, of Dyersville, died Saturday, March 15, 2003, at Oak Crest Manor, Dyersville, after a brief illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville, with the Rev. Ed Petty officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where there will be a parish rosary at 4 p.m.

She was born on Sept. 7, 1909, in Dyersville, son of Joseph H. and Catherine (Goerdt) Becker.

Loretta was a homemaker and housekeeper for her two brothers, Lorenz and Herbert Becker, on the family farm.

Surviving are a brother, Herbert Becker, of Dyersville; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by five brothers, Reynold, Lorenz, Leander, Clarence and Joseph Becker; and a sister, Alvina Becker.
