JAY J. GALVIN

Preston, Minn. (Special)-Jay J. Galvin, 62, died suddenly at his home here, Thursday morning of a coronary attack.

Galvin was born Dec. 22, 1891, at Dubuque, Iowa. He married Edith Domke, La Crosse, April 29, 1922 and moved to this community in 1926. He was a locomotive engineer for the Milwaukee Railroad for 45 years.

Surviving him are his wife; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph O'Toole and Mrs. Mary Fuller, Dubuque, Iowa, and Sister Martinella, New Hampton, Iowa, and three brothers, Martin and John, Dubuque, and Frank, Terre Haute, Ind.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Columban's Catholic Church, the Rev. F.J. Schimek officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, La Crosse.

Rosary services will be held at 8 p.m. today at the Thauwald Funeral Home. Friends may call there today and until services Saturday.
