Marshall H Bergman
Death called Marshall H Bergman Monday morning at 5:30 o'clock at Finley Hospital after an illness of one week's duration. The deceased was 70 years of age and was born in Galena ILL. For many years he was resided in East Dubuque and for the past eight years he made his home in this city.
Mr Bergman was a carpenter by trade and was a member of the Carpenters' union of this city. He is survived by the following children: Frank of Souix City IA, Charles of Oakland CA, Ben of East Dubuque, Marshall Jr and Walter, Alfred, Mrs H.H. Byard, Mrs C Brusky (sp; my research has also seen the surname spelled as Bairowsky, & Brosky), Miss Emma of this city. and two brothers, Benjamin of Chicago, and Charles of Pueblo CO. His wife preceded him in death fours years ago.
The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the home of his son Walter, 51 Johnson Avenue. Internment will be made in the Linwood Cemetery.

Bergman Funeral
The funeral of Marshall H Bergman was held Wednesday afternoon at the residence of his son Walter Bergman 51 Johnson Avenue. Rev Mathias of St Peter's Lutheran church officiated at the home and also at the graveside.
The casket bearers were Frank, Ben, Marshall Jr., and Alfred Bergman and William Brusky. Internment was made in Linwood Cemetery.

(Note1: My research has also seen the surname Brusky spelled as Brosky.)
