Theodore J. "Ted" Milroy, 55, of 409 W. Locust St., died at 4:45 a.m. Friday, Feb. 28, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.

Chapel services will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., where friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday.

Mr. Milroy owned and operated T.J.'s Locksmith Shop in Dubuque for five years. He also was a security guard for Burns Security for eight years.

He was born on May 3, 1947, in Dubuque, son of Theodore A. and Charlotte (Wade) Milroy. He married Sandra L. Clark on July 12, 1966, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Dubuque.

Ted was a volunteer for the Dubuque Police Auxiliary and the Salvation Army. He enjoyed fishing, camping and reading.

Surviving are his wife, Sandra L. Milroy; a daughter, Tina M. (James) Deery, of Flippin, Ark.; five grandchildren, Candice Brainard, Nikita Milroy and Michael Milroy and Joshua and Jacob Deery; a sister, Donna M. (Mike) Lindauer, of Dubuque; and four brothers, Russell Puckett, of San Diego, Larry Milroy, of Des Moines, Raymond (Paula) Milroy, of Dekalb, Ill., and Frank Milroy, of Dubuque.

He was preceded in death by a son, Gregory J. Milroy; and a sister, Anna Milroy.

Memorials may be given to the Dubuque Auxiliary Police, 770 Iowa St., Dubuque, Iowa 52001.
