George H. Stocks Funeral services for George H. Stocks, 84, resident of Waterloo three years, 1927-1930, will be at the Methodist Episcopal church in Raymond at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, with Rev. James Lilley, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at the Poyner cemetery. Mr. Stocks died at his home in Raymond Sunday at 12:10 a.m. of dropsy. Son of Mr. and Mrs. John Stocks, George Stocks was born at Rickardsville, Ia. May 20, 1848. He married Emmalina Ireland at Rickardsville, in 1884. Surviving are his widow, living at Raymond; one daughter, Mrs. Sarah Schmitt, Dubuque; nine sons, Alva, George, Richard, Everett and Glenn Stocks of Raymond; Ray, of Dubuque, and Joseph, 122 Eighth street east; Elmer, 625 Fifth street west, and Herbert, 1107 Franklin street, all of Waterloo, and 25 grand- children.
