Miss Frances Hemmi, 97 of Oakland, CA, and formerly of Dubuque died Saturday in Oakland, CA. Services will be at 10 am Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church here, with burial in Mt. Calvary cemetery. There will be no visitation at the Strueber Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements. Miss Hemmi was born in Tarasp, Switzerland. Surviving are nieces and nephews.

Submitter's Notes: Frances Hemmi was the daughter of Christian Hemmi and Maria Ursula Patscheider. Frances Hemmi never married and was survived by one sister, Mrs. August (Mary Hemmi) Koester.
