C. Hemmi passes away.
Well Known Carpenter Goes to Other World.
Christian Hemmi, aged 76 years died Monday morning at the family residence, 2275 Couler Ave. The deceased was a carpenter by trade and had worked in this capacity in Dubuque for many years. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Church and was a man favorably known to all who had the pleasure of his acquaintance. He is survived by his wife and two daughters. The funeral will be held Thursday morning at 9 o'clock to the Sacred Heart Church and the burial will be at Mt. Calvary.

Submitter's Notes: Christian Hemmi was the son of Joseph and Mary Hemmi. Christian Hemmi was married to Maria Ursula Patscheider (spelling variations) who died in 1919. Mr. Hemmi was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, two daughters; Martha and Anna, and two sons; Joseph and Mathias. He was survived by his wife, Ursula and two daughters; Francis Hemmi and Mrs. August (Mary) Hemmi Koester. He was survived by three brothers; Engelhardt, David, and Peter Hemmi.
