Mrs. Anna Fritsche.
Mrs. Anne Fritsche passed away 9 o'clock Friday morning at the home of her brother, George Eigenberger, 2294 Harold Street, after a two month's illness. Mrs. Fritsche was born in Petersburg, Iowa, 75 years ago, and had been a resident of Dubuque the past 35 years. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. May Waldrod, Los Angeles; four brothers, George, Dubuque; John, Manchester; Matt, St. Paul; Tony, New Hampton. Her husband preceded her in death in March 1933. She was a lively member of the Catholic Church and a member of St. Anthony's Church. The body will be at the Hoffman Mortuary after Sunday. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Submitter's Notes: Anna Mary Eigenberger Fritsche. Annie was the daughter of Joseph and Mary Eigenberger. Eigenberger spelling variations include: Eichenburger, Eichenberger, Idenburger or Igenberger. Her first husband was Peter Eppendorf of Bremer Township, Delaware Co., IA. Mrs. Fritsche’s daughter: Mrs. John (Mary “Mae”) Walrod. The casket bearers, six of Mrs. Fritsche's nephews, were: George, Frank, Arthur, and Phillip Eigenberger, Oscar Williams, and Herman Frick.
