Patrick Hallahan Passes

Patrick Hallahan, 43, died Saturday night at 10:20 o’clock at Mercy hospital, Dubuque, after a several months illness.

The deceased was born in Prairie Creek township, had followed the occupation of farming, and had lived all his life in this community. He was the son of the late Daniel and Margaret Hallahan. He was a member of the Holy Family church, and the Holy Name society, and the league of Sacred Heart.

Surviving are two sisters, Miss Julia Hallahan, and Miss Margaret Hallahan; four brothers, John, Daniel and Dennis Hallahan, all at home and Jerry Hallahan, of Dubuque.

Funeral services were held from the family home Tuesday morning to the Holy Family church, at the Monastery, at 9 o’clock. The Rev. Placid McGee, pastor, officiated at the requiem mass, and burial, services in the adjoining cemetery.
