Jean A. Moses 88, of Heritage Manor, died Monday, March 3, 2008, at Heritage Manor.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 10, at Egelhof, Siegert and Casper Westview Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road. Private family burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

She was born May 5, 1919, in Dubuque, daughter of Leo and Edna (Stevens) Lang. She married Milton C. Moses on Aug. 21, 1941; he preceded her in death on July 31, 1992. They raised their family in Dubuque, then moved to Arizona in 1961.

She helped her husband with his business, Dubuque Dental Laboratory, and was a volunteer at Mercy Medical Center Gift Shop.

Jean was a life-long Catholic and member of the Catholic Daughters of America.

Surviving are two daughters, Sharon (Bob) Sandera, of Austin, Texas, and Jane (Rinus) Baak, of San Diego; two granddaughters, Jennifer Sandera Newman, of Pflugerville, Texas, and Julie Sandera Nootbaar, of Plymouth, Minn.; a great-grandson, Nathan James Nootbaar, of Plymouth, Minn.; a sister, Janis (Martin) Lange, of Dubuque; and two nieces, Lori Lange Joester and Cali Lange Beecher.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Donald Martin, in 1943, while serving with Army during World War II; and a sister, Delaine Dale.

The family would like to thank everyone involved in Mom's care, especially Dr. Thomas Schreiber and his staff.
