Dolores May St Clair

NORTH BUENA VISTA, Iowa -- Dolores May St Clair, 78, of North Buena Vista, passed on to her eternal rest with her savior Jesus Christ Sunday, March 2, 2008, at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital, Guttenberg, after a brief illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 6, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Sherrill. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, at Kramer Funeral Home, Holy Cross.

She was born on May 26, 1929, in Mason City, daughter of Earl and Martha (Hartsfeld) Major.

She married Kenneth St Clair on Aug. 24, 1949, in Waterloo; he preceded her in death in 1986. They made their home in Rockford, Ill., and later moved to North Buena Vista when Ken retired.

Dee loved being around her immediate family and her adopted family in "Buenie".

Surviving are her son, Gary (Nancy) St Clair, of Indianapolis; her daughter, Lori (John) Fay, of Beloit, Wis.; six grandchildren, Jesika, Jeremy, Joshua and Jeneta St Clair, all of Indianapolis, and Tyler and Paige Bressler, of Beloit, Wis.

She also was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Gene and Donald Major.
