Elaine M. Van Natta

Elaine Mae Van Natta, 72, of Sunnycrest Manor, formerly of 3106 Lemon St., died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at The Finley Hospital, Dubuque.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, at Egelhof, Siegert and Casper Westview Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road. Burial will be Friday, Feb. 29, at Whig Cemetery, Platteville, Wis.

Although Elaine's physical disabilities were many, she still possessed the gift to offer love and comfort to those she met. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

Surviving are her brother, Larry (Linda) Van Natta, and their children, Lori Morris, Tony (Sara) Van Natta, Kate (Steve) Dean and Scott Van Natta, of Dubuque; her brother, Robert (Lorraine) Van Natta, of Potosi, Wis., and their children; many great-nieces and nephews; and her best friend and companion, Darlene Genz, of Dubuque.

The family would like to sincerely thank the wonderful and caring staff at Sunnycrest Manor, with whom Elaine made her home for almost five years, Dr. Rebekah Bartsch and the staff at Finley Hospital. We would especially like to offer profound thanks to Darlene Genz for her love and loyal devotion to Elaine.
