Janaan A. Cross

Janaan A. (Habeck) Cross, 86, of 17549 Gondola Drive, died on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at Stonehill Care Center.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, at Mueller Chapel at Linwood Cemetery. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, is in charge of arrangements.

She was born on Dec. 4, 1921, in Dubuque, daughter of Edwin and Clara (Bauer) Habeck. She married Rodney H. Cross on Feb. 21, 1948; he preceded her in death on Sept. 18, 2005.

She worked for Wilberding Dry Cleaners. She was a member of the DB&T Emerald Crown Club and went on many trips with the club members. She also enjoyed bowling, camping and doing puzzles.

Surviving are special friends, Tom and Sandy Koester, Karen and Mike Kluesner, and Ann and Dan Upstrom, and her many great neighbors.
