Mary H. Paulson

Mary H. Paulson, 55, of 21853 Kings Row, died at 4:22 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, at her home following a sudden illness.

A memorial gathering will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road. According to Mary's wishes, she will be cremated.

Mary was born on Dec. 6, 1952, in Elgin, Ill., daughter of Gordon and Margie (Nelson) Page. She married Jeffrey Paulson on March 13, 1992.

She worked at Plaza 20 Subway for many years; she will be remembered by her co-workers and customers, and especially her classic greeting of "Hun" that she always gave everyone.

She was an avid bowler and was a member of the Wild Turkey bowling league.

She loved the river and spending her weekends on her pontoon with her friends in "Pool 11" on the Mississippi River

Surviving are her husband, Jeffrey; children, Renee (Jeff) Behan, of New York state, and William Sterling II, of California; grandchildren, Tyler and Brieanna Hallmark, and Kaitlyn, Baileigh and Megan Behan; her mother, Margie Page, of Florida; two stepchildren, Henry Howard Paulson and Ernie Robert Paulson; and her faithful cat, "Stinker."

She was preceded in death by her father and her two cats, "Dink" & "Dork."
