WORTHINGTON, Iowa -- Linda Lou Graham, 58, of Fort Wayne, Ind., formerly of Worthington, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008, at University Park, Fort Wayne.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Plymouth Congregational Church, 501 W. Berry St., Fort Wayne, with a reception to follow.
She was born on Oct. 31, 1949, in Dubuque. She worked as an associate professor of nursing at the University of Purdue, Fort Wayne and had been teaching there since 1981.
She was founding member of Matthew 25 Health and Dental Clinic, Infants and Children's Program W.I.C. and AIDS Task Force, serving northeast Indiana. She was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church, United Church of Christ.
Surviving are her husband, James A. Cates Jr., of Fort Wayne; son, Michael (Fiancee, Kendra Fordanish) Cates, of Fort Wayne; sister, Donna (Paul) Kirker, of Bartonville, Ill; and a granddaughter, Kelsae Cates, of Fort Wayne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Graham and Lucille (Gaul) Memorials may be given to Matthew 25 and AIDS Task Force- 525 Oxford Fort Wayne, IN 46802.
