MRS. ELIZABETH F. BUTLETT
Mrs. Eilzabeth Fleckenstein Butlett, widow of George Butlett, died at 5:45 a.m. Thursday at the family home, 2316 Elm St. She had been ill five months.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. at the Hoffman Mortuary from where services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday to Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Mosalem Township.
Mrs. Butlett was born Jan. 13, 1870 at Sherrill, the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Tigges Fleckenstein. She lived on a farm near St. Cagtherine for 30 years, coming to Dubuque in 1941.
She was a member of Sacred Heard Church and the Rosary Society.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Leo (Rose) Wagner, Bellevue, Ia.; two sons, Melchoir Butlett, Bellevue, and Alfred Butlett, Dubuque; 14 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. George Engler, Dubuque.
She was preceded by her husband and a son, Clarence.
