Herman Blichmann (Sr.) 1864-1943Former Moreland Firm Employee Dies in Van Nuys
Funeral services for Herman Blichman (sic), 78, a former resident of Burbank, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Ross Jones Mortuary in Van Nuys, with internment following at Grandview Cemetery.
Blichman, a native of Dubuque, Iowa, died yesterday at his home, 6518 Woodman, Van nuys, after a lingering illness.
He lived here for 14 years, and moved to the valley about 12 years ago. For 19 years he was employed at the old Moreland factory on San Fernando rd. (sic)
He leaves a wife, Mrs. Mae Blichman; a daughter, Mrs. Harlan Oelsen, Van Nuys; three sons John Blichman of Van Nuys, Herman Blichman of West Los Angeles, and Leonard Blichman of Dubuque, and seven grandchildren.
