Richard S. Ellwanger, 78, of Glenview, formerly of Northbrook, passed away at Lake Forest Hospital on May 3, 2007. He is the dear husband of Geraldine, nee Anetsberger; and the son of the late George and Felicia, nee Gerken Ellwanger; he is the loving father of Ellen, Richard (Donna), George (Jane), Joseph (Susan), Ann Marie (Dave) Garner, Ronald (Terry), Mary Ann (Michael) Daly and Timothy (Julia); he is the grandfather of Maureen, Ricky, Elesha, Adam, Zachery, Kevin, Ryan, Greogry, Ashley, Meghan, Mick, Colleen, Connor and Matthew; he is the brother of the late Margaret Bilodeau, George Ellwanger and Dorothy Knapik. Memorial visitation Tuesday 3 to 9 p.m. at N.H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home, 1240 Waukegan Rd., Glenview (2 blks S. of Lake Ave. on Westside). Funeral mass Wednesday 11 a.m. at St. Norbert Catholic Church, 1809 Walters Ave., Northbrook. Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorials maybe made to Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, 1140 W.
