Chris J. Fuerst, 72, of 2271 Prince, died at 6:50 a.m. Monday at Xavier Hospital.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at Behr's. Funeral Home. Services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. Fred Kriebs will offer the Requiem High Mass. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Fuerst was a member of the Holy Name Society of Sacred Heart Parish.
He was born at Dubuque, son of the late Andrew and Theresa (Eiber) Fuerst, and lived in Dubuque all his life. He was a retired cabinet maker.
Surviving is a brother, Anton A. Fuerst, Dubuque.
Members of the Sacred Heart Holy Name Society are to meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Behr's for the Rosary.
