MAX M. BLUM

Max M. Blum, 74, of 2339 Coventry Park died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph's Unit, Mercy Health Center.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Egelhof-Casper Funeral Home, where friends may call from 10:30 a.m. Tuesday until time of services. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.

Mr. Blum was born in Russia and was president of Blum Co. He was a member of Beth-el Synagogue, Bnai Brith Association, Dubuque Men's Club, and Dubuque Chamber of Commerce.

Surviving are his wife, the former Sylvia Weiner; two sons, Alvin of Dubuque and Sidney of Wheeling, W. Va.; three grandchildren, and a sister Ida Heler of Phoenix, Ariz.

Memorials may be given to the Cancer Fund or Heart Fund.
