Mrs. Diana Lightfoot

Taken from the Dubuque, Iowa Telegraph Herald newspaper of April 8, 1931:

"Mrs. Diana Lightfoot, well known Dubuquer, died at Finley Hospital Thursday morning at 6 o'clock. She had been ill a long time. Burial in Cemetery in British Hollow, Wisconsin. Resided at 872 [or 372] Iowa Street. Survived by three daughters, Mrs. Alvina Schroeder, Potosi; Ida Bruno, Maplewood, Missouri and Rose Maeggenburg of Dubuque and two sons, Charles and W. L. Lightfoot."

Notes: Diana's maiden name was Caskey. She was married to John N. Lightfoot in 1870, according to Marriage Volume 4, Page 268, Lancaster, Wisconsin Courthouse. The name Maeggenburg is maybe spelled Meggenburg.
