Miss Alice Hooks Specht, 42, formerly of Dubuque, died Friday at the Springville (Ia.) Rest Home.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at Behr's. Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Church, with the Rev. Anthony Sigwarth, pastor, offering the Requiem High Mass. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Miss Specht was born in Dubuque, daughter of George and Florence Lightfoot Hooks. Her father passed away in her infancy and her stepfather, John Specht reared her.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. B. B. (Evelyn) Peck of Omaha, Neb. and Mrs. Arthur (Lucille) Ruer of Dubuque; three brothers, Delbert G. Hooks and John T. Specht, both of Dubuque, and Clem M. Specht of Monmouth, Ia.

The parish Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
