Robert Joseph Fischer – Date of Death – December 17, 1948
Robert Joseph Fischer, one and a half years old, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis M. Fischer, of 575 Central Avenue, died Friday at Mercy hospital after two days’ illness. Friends may call at the Didesch funeral home, where services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. He was born June 2, 1947 in Dubuque. Surviving are his parents; a sister, Betty Ann, and a brother, William, at home; a grandmother, Mrs. Mary Mastin of St. Catherine’s and aunts and uncles.

Second Notice –
Services for Robert Joseph Fischer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Fischer, of 575 Central Avenue, who died Friday afternoon at Mercy hospital, were held Monday morning at the Didesch funeral home. The Rev. William J. Barragy officiated. Burial was in Mt. Calvary cemetery. Pallbearers were Robert Harron, Tom Feipel, Robert Huss and James Oswald, all students of St. Raphael’s school.
